1:00pm		The STUDIO The STUDIO is a time to be creative! Bring your own arts or crafts to do, or join in with one that has been prepared. There are always sewing machines available to use. All abilities welcome to come and share time together, drinking tea and enjoying being creative together. Venue: DBC Sanctuary

RNID
The RNID drop in clinic for National Health hearing aid users, and aims to provide a service to our community. The aids can be retube and fresh batteries supplied. Visitors only need to bring their Salisbury District Hospital battery issue card with them. For more information, please contact the Community Support officer in Salisbury on 01722 580014. RNID meet generally on the first Thursday of the month.

The COMMUNITY GARDEN is open every Sunday (weather permitting) and is open to everyone! For planting, sowing, growing, talking, drinking tea or anything in between. Please come and see what happens... have some fresh air and good company!

10:00am		The WORKSHOP The WORKSHOP, welcomes the DOWNTON REPAIR CAFE. Bring along your broken household items to be fixed! Save on expensive repair costs or if you're just not sure what is wrong with it. Everything from electricals, lamps, vacuum cleaners, clocks, ceramics, toys and sewing repairs etc! Venue: DBC

10:30am		SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE Our Sunday Morning Worship welcomes everyone. We share time together, in sung worship, prayers, bible readings and talks. Venue: DBC Sanctuary

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello to Downton Baptist Church

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When?

We meet at our Church in South Lane, Downton, for our Sunday Service starting at 10.30 am. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team and Duty Stewards.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits following our service.. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There is a disabled toilets.

Our Service

The Sunday Morning Worship service begins at 10.30 am with a warm welcome.
During the service there will be a time of sung worship, led by our band. There will then follow readings from the bible and a talk about what we have heard. There will be times of prayer.
Please ask if this is new for you and would like some support.

We are pleased to say we have a programme for our young people and everyone is welcome.

Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service for the welcome, songs and notices. We really value worshipping God all together as a family. At an appropriate moment, the young people will be asked to go their various groups. You will need to go with your children to their groups and register them as part of our child safety policy.

Please pick your children up as soon as the service finishes.
