Our monthly WARDROBE | Clothing Exchange is held at Downton Baptist Church, South Lane, Downton. We aim to serve our community by the giving and receiving of clothing. Everyone is welcome. We offer a warm and friendly place to browse and share in our free refreshments.
We have changed our name from The Clothing Exchange to The WARDROBE. This is because we now have The LARDER, The KITCHEN, The GARDEN and The TABLE. (Ask a member of DBC to explain!)

When can you leave your donations?
The Church is open Monday to Thursday from 9am until 1pm. There is a large box for collections in the first room from the reception. The church is also open on a Sunday morning from 10am until 12.15pm. You are welcome to bring items on the day.
What is collected?
We collect clothes, shoes, belts and handbags.
For any other items, such as toys, bedding or furniture, please take this directly to Trussell Trust.
How is best to leave the donations?
Please bag the clean clothes in small carrier bags. This makes it easier for our volunteers to carry them. Thank you!
What happens to the excess donations?
All excess clothing is donated to Trussell Trust and charities, for sale in their shops or recycling
