Gathering for Worship after 19th July 2021

We will  continue to review all of our decisions in light of events and developments locally and in the wider country.

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.  Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.  There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism;  one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.         Ephesians 4:1-5

How are we meeting?

We are delighted to say that we are able to worship together in person every Sunday.

  1. Whenever possible we will continue to meet outside in the church field. We appreciate that this is weather dependant and we may move the service inside.
  2. Our service will be streamed online.

Do I need to register that I am coming?

  1. We no longer require you to book into services apart from services where we think the numbers might be greatly increased. However, we will continue to take the names of everyone who attends and these will be kept for 21 days for NHS Track and Trace in line with GDPR..
  2. We will take a photograph to record where everyone is sitting at the beginning of the service to minimise the risk of the whole congregation having to self-isolate in the event of a positive case.

Do I need to wear a face mask?

  1. We will continue to ask everyone to wear coverings during church services indoors.
  2. If you arrive without a face covering, there will be masks available.

Can we sing indoors?

We are  able to sing indoors but for the time being it will be behind your face covering.
  1. Singing continues to be allowed outside.

Do I need to socially distance from others?

  1. We will continue to ask you to observe social distancing while you are in church, and in particular respecting other’s feelings.
  2. You should feel free to sit together but equally we must respect people’s desire to sit on their own.
  3. We hope to be able to provide a space where everyone feels comfortable.

What other measures are in place?

  1. There will be  hand sanitizer at entrances to the building and in the church field.
  2. The church is being cleaned regularly.
  3. The windows will be open for ventilation.
  4. The toilets will be open from the exterior of the building.

Will there be refreshments?

  1. We will recommence serving refreshments after a service when we have met outside.

What we ask you?

  1. Please respect the space around others.
  2. Please use hand santizer when you arrive.
  3. Please bring a chair to the field. (We can supply if this is a difficulty for you).
  4. Please do not come if you or a member of your household are displaying symptoms of the virus or have been asked to self isolate.
  5. If you develop symptoms whilst at church, please tell the duty steward or Pastor immediately.
  6. If you subsequently develop symptoms, please make contact with us.
