6.00 pm - 7.00 pm | Thursdays
What is available in The KITCHEN?
We will be serving hot soup and bread from 6.00 pm until 7.00 pm every Thursday. We have a warm and welcoming place to share some time together. In these challenging times we want to be a community together and so please join us!
(We ask that if you have ANY cold or flu symptom or suspected COVID that you do not come to the church)
How much does The KITCHEN cost?
The KITCHEN is absolutely free and open to our whole community. Please come and share, with family, neighbours and friends. Come and meet someone new!
The KITCHEN is FREE but if you would like to make a donation for your food you would be welcome. All donations received will go to purchasing more food.
How do you volunteer at The KITCHEN?
The KITCHEN is run by volunteers from Downton Baptist Church and supported by Downton Churches Together and working in partnership with the Coop
.
If you would like volunteer to support The KITCHEN, then please contact us via the church office.
All volunteers must complete training and will be required to hold a DBS certificate with DBC prior to volunteering. For more information on safeguarding please click here.
